Xiaomi is now eyeing the bigger market share for its Redmi series of smartphones after launching the budget version Redmi 4A in India earlier.
Xiaomi India grew 4 times in the last one year and has positioned itself as the second largest brand in smartphones in India, according to Manu Jain. Xiaomi India has also announced that its first Mi Home Store will be opened in Bengaluru on May 11.
Its forthcoming Redmi 4 high-end smartphone is likely to be launched later this month as prime model is likely to be priced less than Rs.10,000. Revealing the launch, Manu Jain, Xiaomi global vice president tweeted:

Soon, he tweeted saying there will be two more products to be launched at the forthcoming release this month.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 top-end model features 5.0-inch full HD IPS LCD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the budget model will have 5.0-inch HD IPS LCD screen, Snapdragon 430 octa-core chip with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
The body will have a full metallic cover with 2.5D curved glass, fitted with fingerprint sensor, a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus, a 5MP front camera for selfies, all backed by a high-end 4,100mAh battery.
