But Sri Lanka, already beaten blue, is likely to fight back fiercely today at Ranchi, the home ground of MS Dhoni, whose return is not likely now.
Among those to watch in today’s match include Rohit Sharma, whose 264 in the previous match took the winning spirit high for the country and the opener will make it sure that this time too he goes intent on breaking a record than getting carried away on past glory.

Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara, who gave the team 89 runs in 9 overs, in the last match will see to it that he proves his mettle again. Angelo Mathews is another Sri Lankan bowler who will turn around the fortunes for the Indian batsmen with good scoring in the past.
Even Mahela Jayawardene, whose fighting spirit led him score a century in the third ODI but lost to Shikhar Dhawan may repeat his past excellent performance this time, provided Umesh Yadav let him proceed today. Yadav has improved in the series and had put all the Sri Lankan batsman to test their skills, including ousting Jayawardene for two runs in the previous ODI.
Lahiru Thirimanne, who has made aneat half century in the last ODI will have to take cudgels against Rohit and upcoming Akshar Patel whose bowling has set in new trend already.
