Vijay Starrer Puli All Set to be Released Tomorrow: Check Out Some Interesting Facts

Ilayathalapathy Vijay starer Puli is all set to be released on 1st October, 2015. Puli has already broken several records and creating huge wave in Indian Cinema.

The film ‘Puli’ has many features to attract audience to the theater. Actress Sridevi is making her comeback in Tamil films with this fantasy flick after almost three decades. Seeing her sharing screen space with Vijay, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani, will be a treat for the fans.

Here are some interesting facts about the movie:

2) It has been decided to release Puli in a whopping 3500 screens across India. This will be the highest number of screens ever for a Vijay film in India.

3) All the theaters showing the film in Tamil have already reported houseful in Tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai, as booking began on Friday and by Saturday afternoon it was virtually a ‘Sold Out’ message from all the theaters.

4) Chimbudevan directorial achieved another mile stone, when the trailer become the most liked trailer on Youtube. It has beat Baahubali with a long margin as the Baahubali still managed to get only 30,000 likes where as Puli’s number are 102,628 and still counting.

5) The trailer of “Baahubali” crossed 2.8 million within 24 hours after the launch but it was in all the three major languages — Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. On the other hand, Puli‘s trailer, which is in Tamil, had crossed one lakh views and reached 2.25 lakh views in one hour on Youtube.

6) Compared to the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Vijay starrer Puli has more CGI scenes than Bahubali. In all, Puli has 2,200 scenes with graphics embedded and it is touted to be much more than SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’, which has about 2,000 graphic scenes.

7) Sridevi is playing a queen ‘Saumya Devi’ the Tamil film ‘Puli’ and she had reportedly refused the iconic role of Sivagami, played by Ramya Krishna in the latest historic blockbuster film ‘Baahubali’ apparently because she had thought that Queen Soumya Devi role would bring huge recognition.
