‘People who say, I don’t like attention, are liars’, says Arjun Kapoor

The Bollywood actor who recently celebrated his 30th birthday said he had worked hard to be be in limelight and that he enjoys the attention and recognition as an actor.

Arjun Kapoor said that he enjoys being in the limelight as he has worked hard to get fame and recognition as an actor.

Reportedly, Arjun Kapoor, son of producer-director Boney Kapoor and his former wife Mona, said that he enjoys the attention that comes with being a celebrity.

According to NDTV, “I have worked hard for this attention and if I will get afraid of it then what’s the point. People who say, ‘I don’t like the attention’, are liars. In our profession, we work hard to get love and acclaim and if you start saying that you don’t like it, it doesn’t make sense,” Arjun told PTI.

The actor has a huge fan following and loves connecting with his admirers.

The actor also said, “I know how to deal with it. Some people can’t deal with it and that might be the reason why they don’t enjoy it. It is unfair for me to comment on anyone else, but I love this attention and like connecting with fans.”

Saying that “The world has not changed for me. It’s just that now I have to think a bit more before going out,” the actor now thinks twice before making a public appearance.

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in ‘Tevar’ which was released in January and took a small break. He has almost acted in six movies till date.

Talking about the upcoming movies the acvtor said, “My next is R Balki’s film opposite Kareena (Kapoor Khan). I will start the work on the project by the end of this month. It’s an urban romantic film and I am very thrilled to team up with Balki and Kareena. They are the two people I always wanted to work with.”

The director of the movie is R.Balki. Recently, Arjun was in Delhi to endorse the brand Hero Cycles, as he has been selected the new face of the brand. He feels that cycling has helped him a lot to get fit and that is why he chose to endorse the brand.

The actor told NDTV, “I would love to go to Kerala or Goa or probably choose some Delhi roads for a ride as Mumbai may not be a good place for me to go for a cycle ride.”
