Mahesh Babu’s next film in Telugu and Tamil to be directed by AR Murugadoss is likely to be the biggest action-thriller with record budget and starring Rakul Preet Singh to hit the screens in 2017 after the failure of ‘Brahmotsavam’ in 2016.

Almost into its fifth month since the film hit the floor, the bilingual also stars actor SJ Suryah playing the antagonist in the film and it was a first of its kind in combination of two famous heroes in their respective film fields.

While Mahesh will himself dub for the Tamil film as he is fluent in the language, Suryah may choose to dub himself in Telugu or opt out. Veteran cinematographer Santhosh Siva is making his Telugu debut with this film and he worked earlier with AR Murugadoss in Vijay’s Thuppaki. Harris Jayaraj is likely to be the music composer for the film.

Murugadoss has turned to Mahesh Babu’s film after the release of Bollywood film ‘Akira’ featuring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. The film was did not make huge profits though.

The yet-to-be titled project is Mahesh Babu’s 23rd movie as lead actor and first bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil. Mahesh Babu was brought up in Chennai and studied at Loyola. he is known for his fluency in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
