Karnataka bandh called by farmers’ association on 5th September is not affective in many part of Karnataka. BMTC, KSRCTC buses are running as usual.
North Karnataka and Mysuru region is slightly affected as farmers there demanding speedy implementation of canal projects and their demands.
Auto’s and other are services are also running as usual. The bandh is not effective because political parties are not allowed to take part in the protest.
While pro-Kannada organisations are not participating in this strike. However, they will hold a bandh in Bengaluru on 26 September.
On the occasion of Teacher’s day Schools will remain open.
