Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated to honor elephant-headed God Ganesha’s birthday. It is a ten-day Hindu festival, due the popularity of the festival among children and others this festival is celebrated widely by Muslims and other religious believers.
Lord Ganesha is considered as the God of beginning, he is honored at the start of the rituals and ceremonies. Ganesh is known as Ganapati or Vinayaka widely.
With 108 different names, he is the younger son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
