SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ minted Rs.1,047 in 10 days worldwide with Japan and china markets remaining to be accessed this month.
As Dangal has already raked in Rs.80 crore in Chinese market in just three days this weekend, hopes are high on Bahubali 2 release in these markets which showed highest gross returns last time when ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ was released there.
BoxofficeIndia.com reported that Hindi version alone grossed Rs. 508 crore in 10 days, with the rest half coming from Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions worldwide, especially the North America and Australia.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna and Sathyaraj, the film by Rajamouli has become a showcase film of Indian film industry’s potential on par with any Hollywood hit worldwide.
On its first day or opening day, the film box office collection had hit the roof at Rs.122 crore followed by Rs. 125 crore on the second day and crossing easily Rs.250 crore on its third day, followed by May day holiday that took another Rs. 80 crore in its collections.
