COMEDK 2017 Results to be Declared Tomorrow, May 29, KCET Results on May 30

The results of Comedk-2017 for admission to Karnataka private colleges will be announced on Monday, May 29 and the Karnataka CET Exam results for admission to government colleges and to fill government quote in private colleges will be declared a day after on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. The exam was held on May 14, 2017.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has conducted the exam for this year, which could be the last one as JEE-Mains will take over the entire screening for admissions to both government and private college admissions for engineering seats, while NEET will take over the admission test for medical colleges.

COMEDK is a common entrance test followed by centralized counseling (Single window system) for admission to private engineering colleges in Karnataka.

Currently, about 150 Engineering colleges have made available around 20,000 seats to CMEDK 2017.Students who took the CET 2017 will have 45 percent seats allotted to them by the government in the private unaided non-minority colleges while those taking will have 30 percent seats allotted to them in these colleges.

Here are the indicative cutoff points for COMEDK 2017:

For R.V.College of Engineering, the No.1 college in Bangalore, the cutoff rank for CSE or Computer Science Engineering in the last two years was in the range of top 470, for ECE or Electronics & Communication Engineering, it was 750 and for EEE or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, it was 1780 range.

For BMS College, the cutoff for CSE was in the range of 1047, for ECE, it is 1392. For more details download the latest available cutoff indicator from 2015 admissions from COMEDK at this link:
