Today Chiranjeevi birthday function sans hid youngest brother Pawan Kalyan had made it disruptive with fans demanding to know whether he is coming or not. When the audience repetedly shouted for Pawn Kalyan, Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Nagababu turned angry and shouted back at the fans to go and ask the Power Star himself.
He said, “We waited. We waited with patience. But he never turns up to any function. Ask him, how many times we invite him and how many times he disappoints us. If you have guts, go and ask your Power star at his office. Do not shout here.” Soon silence dawned upon the fans.
Power star will meet his brother on Sunday at another place as he is out of the country, he later revealed. Soon, he got emotional and and said Pawan Kalyan, whatever he may be today, he was made into a star by Chiranjeevi. “It was our sister-in-law (Chrianjeevi’s wife) who prompted and encouraged Pawan Kalyan to become a star,” he revealed.
Nagababu, who has supported in the duel between the two brothers –Chiranjeevi vs Pawan Kalyan, has stood by his elder brother both in politics and afterwards, said in his usual frank remark that the youngest brother of the three has kept himself away from all the functions of the family despite repeated invitations to him to attend.
In fact, chiranjeevi himself recently said in a TV interview that Pawan Kalyan, who is 10 years younger than him was more like his son than brother. However, the words seemed to have not melted Pawan Kalyan, who is angry with his elder brother since the time of his film “Attarintiki Daredi”.
Pawan kalyan was reportedly asked by Chiranjeevi, then minister at the centre, to postpone his film in lieu of his son’s film which was scheduled for release at the same time. What happened was not known but it has sown the seeds open dissent between the brothers who were equally loved by all the megastar-family fans.
Pawan Kalyan did not respond so far and it is learnt that he is busy shooting for his upcoming film “Sardar”.
Otherwise, the function was filled with remarks by his nephews Allu Arjun, Allu Aryan, Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan Teja and others.
