Soon after Tyler Perry, a friend of Whitney Houston, pleaded in a statement for privacy to the family of comatose and brain-dead Bobbi Kristina Brown, her cousin Jerod Brown thanked him for his gesture.
While the media raised speculation that she could be dead or in her final hours owing to the sighting of a second hearse in a hospice where Kristina, 22-year-old Whitney Houston’s daughter was kept, Perry said the families be left alone during “this awful time.”
Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown traveled with Perry to Atlanta to see Bobbi Kristina at the Peachtree Christian Hospice on Friday, while her family members, lawyers and police reportedly made a last minute visit to the hospice.
Jerod said, “Well said…Thanks for your support,” in response to Perry statement, which he posted in full along with his message on Facebook.
“This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind. I couldn’t help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child. I know this was not her dream… And as difficult as this time is for the people that love both Whitney and Krissi, what makes it more egregious is the blatant disrespect, lies, and ignorance that are rapidly printed in this awful time. For some reason, it has become human nature in our society to look for, seek out, and celebrate darkness, glory in tragedy, and enjoy reading and reporting it. It makes me sad to know that everybody wants to be the first to report something awful. So much so, that they find it OK to speak death onto those who are still alive. May I ask you all to please show some decency and respect? Not only to Krissi’s family, but also to the other families that are there in this place. Not only is Krissi at the center but there are several other families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones at the same time. It’s heartbreaking to think that even in a time like this, this child is still not allowed any peace. I assure you, the family will issue an official statement if something changes. Until then, can we just pray for Krissi, and the Houston and Brown families?Brown’s visit to his daughter came just a week after he and wife Alicia Etheredge welcomed their new-born daughter, Bodhi Jameson Rein, in Los Angeles.”
Kristina, daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta on Jan. 31, shockingly in the same way her mother was found dead in a hotel room in 2012. Kristina was rushed to a hospital where she was put in a medically induced coma ever since. When all attempts to revive her failed, the life-support system was removed last month to let her in the hands of God, according to the family elders.
But the sighting of hearse at the hospice on Thursday raised concerns and some media outlets played it up indicating that Kristina could be the case in question but a receptionist at the hospice brushed it aside saying there were no deaths on Wednesday. However, another hearse the next day again prompted media glare with no confirmation coming from the family.
The reported visit of lawyers gave strength to speculation that the purported lawsuit against Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon could be revised to murder once the customary post-mortem is done. Gordon has been barred from seeing her ever sine she was admitted to hospital.
Based on port-mortem, the police may press for murder charge against him with a possible motive that he was afraid of being dumped by her. Apparently, he was living off her money throughout.
National Enquirer reported quoting an unnamed source that there “was no question Nick didn’t want Bobbi Kristina to leave him. He may have never intended to kill her, but no doubt they argued.”
Bobbi Kristina would have inherited her mother Whitney Houston’s entire property once she crossed the age of 30 and now that her revival is out of question, her father and estranged husband of Whitney Houston would become the legal claimant though he may have to face legal hassles before that.
