The 10 higher education institutions named by the UGC include Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Homi Bhabha National Institute, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies ( NMIMS) University, Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
