Arun Jaitley for Finance, Sushma Swaraj for Foreign Affairs, Rajnath for Home in Modi Cabinet: Sources

sushmaAs the countdown began for Narendra Modi swearing-in at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, Monday may 26, the top three cabinet posts have been leaked out by media sources.

Delhi BJP chief and former Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Sushma Swaraj is likely to become the next foreign minister and Arun Jaitley, though defeated in Amritsar will join the cabinet as the finance minister.

BJP president Rajnath Singh will be the Union home minister, paving the way for Modi’s choice for the party chief post.

Modi will have council of ministers of 45 with 23 Cabinet ministers, 10 MoS (minister of state) with independent charge and another 10 MoS will take oath along with Modi on Monday evening.

The oath-taking will start at 6pm and SAARC leaders‎ Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif, Mauritius PM Naveenchandra Ramgoolam, and Sri Lankan President Rajapakse are attending it.
