AcroArmy on “America’s Got Talent” Season 9

The “America’s Got Talent” 2014 Season 9 will come to an end after weeks of fierce competition. Host Nick Cannon will declare the winner of the show tonight based on American audience’s vote.

The top six contestants performed live for the last time this season on Tuesday to impress the audience as their hope to win the title lies with America. Quintavious Jonhnson, Emily West, Sons of Serendip, AcroArmy and Miguel Dakota took the stage performing two acts each – one, a repeat of their previous performance, and a new act.

Recap of Repeat Act during Final Live Performance:

Quintavious Jonhnson: The 12-year-old rendered Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” for his repeat act. As expected, he received praises from the judges for his performance.

Mat Franco: The magician added spice to his audition act with a story about Howie Mandel, Howard Stern, and Heidi Klum, earning the praises of the judges.

Emily West: The singer sang “Chandelier” by Sia for her repeat act and she rendered it brilliantly, making Howard to say that it was a “winning performance.” She raised the bar by performing it better than her previous performance.

Miguel Dakota: She rendered the song, “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes but failed to impress the judges.

Sons of Serendip: The band rendered Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know” beautifully. Judges were all praise for their performance.

AcroArmy: For the repeat act, the acrobats chose “The Immortals” and it worked. Judges showered praises on them and Heidi even said that they deserve to win the competition.

Recap of New Act:

Quintavious Jonhnson: The younger singer rendered “Let It Be” by The Beatles, which was a huge challenge. He won the hearts of the judges and audience with his rendition. Howie Mandel said that it was a “winning performance.”

Mat Franco: Once again, the magician got judges Mel B and Howard Stern, and the audience involve in his trick. He stunned everyone with his trick.

Emily West: She performed Roberta Flack’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” beautifully. Mel B opined that she could win a million bucks with that performance.

Miguel Dakota: The 19-year-old singer took a big risk by singing, “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson. It was much stronger than his repeat act, and as expected, he received praises from the judges.

Sons of Serendip: They performed “Bring Me To Life” by Evanescence. It was a beautiful rendition and Mel B said she would like to buy their album.

AcroArmy: They performed stunning act to “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark” by Fall Out Boy, which could be their winning performance as some of the judges said. All the judges gave them a standing ovation for the performance.

It’s not going to be easy for America to choose only one from this bunch of talents, and the praises of the judges will make things even more difficult. However, only one will win the $1 million prize.

The “America’s Got Talent” season 9 winner will be crowned on Wednesday. The episode will be broadcast live on NBC at 8:00 PM ET on Wednesday (6:30 am IST, Thursday).
