Allu Arjun’s DJ – ‘Duvvada Jagganadham’ First Look Poster Released, Belur Shooting Resumes


Telugu actor Allu Arjun is back, after scoring a hat-trick of successes with films like Race Gurram, S/o Satyamurthy and Sarrainodu, with an entirely new look portraying a typical modern-day village boy on a two-wheeler. The film set for hooting at historic monument in Belur met with angry protests from visitors to the Belur Chennakeshava temple and had to be wound up on Thursday.

Hi upcoming film with director Harish Shankar – DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham, is getting ready with the first poster released on Monday, February 20, 2017. Produced under the Sri Venkateshwara Creations banner by Dil Raju & Shirish, the film is progressing at a brisk pace. The successful trio have teamed up for the film, the first look of which has been released, to unanimous positive reception by fans and critics.

Speaking about the same, producer Dil Raju said, “A film from our banner generally evokes huge curiosity amongst everyone. But as our banner Sri Venkateshwara Creation teams up with the interesting trio of Stylish Star Allu Arjun – who worked with us on Arya and Parugu, Powerful director Harish Shankar – who gave us a hit like Subramanyam for Sale, and Devi Sri Prasad who has worked with us several times and is also a super hit combination with Bunny because of films like Arya, Bunny, Arya 2, Julayi and S/o Satyamurthy, the buzz has intensified.”

He said the film’s first look has been unveiled amid high expectations “In fact, we have left no stone unturned to ensure the film is give the best. And now, we have finally unveiled the most awaited first look for the film, the response to which has been phenomenal. Within minutes, our First Look Poster started to trend across the world on Twitter. We will soon release the teaser too, on account of Mahasivaratri,” he added.

Reports said the crew had placed a Shiva statue in the temple. “According to the temple priests, this is against the custom and tradition of the temple. Other people also protested for not being allowed to visit the temple during shooting hours. The cops had to be called in before the issues were resolved,” said a TOI report quoting temple authorities.

The film team had taken permission from the Department of History and Archaeology for the shooting and the crew resumed shooting of the movie on Saturday again. The film is presently being shot in Karnataka and the team will soon move to Abu Dhabi.
